This might be vintage tie since the label says it was made with 100% Crimplene Polyester and that type of fabric has not been around since the 60's/70's It looks like corded silk at first glance so it might also be an upgrade to the old Crimplene It's 3.5" wide at the bottom. 56.5" long From England I presume, Godalming 29294 is also on the label. I find the embroidery rather interesting. It's a good scan so zoom in, maybe you can tell me something about the depiction of the two men in tunics and the symbol of the horns holding up the sphere is all about?
