That's what they call it when you dig through your lamp shop and marry up a menage of pieces.

This is quite the piece of work.

Where it attaches to the ceiling, is an ornate solid brass piece. Not the junk you find today.

Next is a glass section from a 60's chandelier.

Then we have a 3 bulb socket unit made of bakelite age unknown.
60 watt max each but you could use spirals and the shade will soften their glow.

The 15" across heavy glass is probably 1940's era.

Last but not least a fancy brass finial from the 1920's

Upper left picture shows that it is in working condition but it could use a ground wire.
Other wires are new, black and white.

Measures 17" all.
